Kate grew up on a farm in Hanmer Springs where she enjoyed riding horses, exploring the high country and skiing. She attended a school camp in Kaikōura as a child and instantly loved the "feel" of the seaside town, hoping she'd live there one day. Having made Kaikōura home five years ago, Kate truly understands what makes this coastal community special. “It's the perfect peaceful and safe place to raise a family and nestled between the mountains and the sea there is so much to do. The community is so welcoming and people look out for one another.” She understands firsthand what draws people to the area and can offer invaluable insights to those looking to buy a holiday home in Kaikōura, or make the town their home.
Kate brings a rich background in customer service to her role at Kaikōura Property Brokers. Her experience includes positions as a Flight Attendant at Emirates Airline, a Primary School Teacher, and an Inflight Service Manager at Air New Zealand. Having thrived in these people-oriented roles, she is looking forward to meeting buyers and sellers and guiding them through their real estate journey.
When not helping clients, Kate cherishes time with her young family. She enjoys time at the beach with her children and walking local nature trails with friends.
