Kate grew up on a farm in Hanmer Springs where she enjoyed riding horses, exploring the high country and skiing. She attended a school camp in Kaikōura as a child and instantly loved the "feel" of the seaside town, hoping she'd live there one day. Having made Kaikōura home five years ago, Kate truly understands what makes this coastal community special. “It's the perfect peaceful and safe place to raise a family and nestled between the mountains and the sea there is so much to do.
